![]() ![]() ![]() Our Inspired by John Lennon Casino’s cover both incarnations of one of John’s favorite guitars, the Vintage Sunburst (used on The Beatles. ![]() The guitar is lightweight, resonant and tons of fun to play. The 'Inspired by' John Lennon Casino and the Revolution Casino offer professional musicians the same key features of John Lennon’s personal Epiphone Casino that he purchased in London in 1965. The guitar is in excellent condition with the exception of one spot of light indentations on the neck that you don't notice as you play. In an appearance on the BBC’s Top of the Pops, both Harrison and Lennon were filmed playing their new matching ’65 Casinos, finished in sunburst. A nice touch is the original serial number still on the headstock, though this one is number 1793 of 1965. Clearly, McCartney’s Casino was making an impression with his bandmates, because by early 1966, both George Harrison and John Lennon had been seen sporting their own Epiphones. An Epiphone team examined the original guitar and replicated all of it, including the original '65 Kalamazoo body shape. This one is a no-brainer for Beatles collectors or anyone who loves a Casino!
